Launching and space transportation

In this sector, the ‘mother of all space activities’, the legal and policy aspects of safety – such as liability and insurance issues – play a particularly prominent role. Thus, for stakeholders answers to such questions as the following are crucial. What are the applicable safety regulations, international and/or national? How can we make them more appropriate to the case at hand? What liabilities are playing, and how to insure against them? What future trends are visible, and from which other transport fields could we learn? The scope of advise is not necessarily limited moreover to launching operations per se; also follow-on activities of space transportation are confronted with these questions.

Black Holes has been involved in a number of studies dealing with such issues; the expertise resulting from such involvement is of course at your disposal to help you answering the above questions as well as related ones.

Also, when it comes to liabilities and related issues, a considerable amount of studies has been devoted to this subject with substantial involvement of Frans von der Dunk.
